Presenter FAQ’s
Who can present?
Any professional working or conducting research in one or more of the four domains of Pediatric Feeding Disorders—medical, nutritional, feeding skill, or psychosocial—is welcome to submit a presentation proposal. We encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and diverse perspectives that advance the field.
We value collaboration and diverse expertise. To ensure every presentation has ample time for meaningful discussion, we ask that each topic be presented by a maximum of two presenters. If a proposal includes more than two presenters, the conference committee is happy to review requests and will consider additional speakers on a case-by-case basis.
Do you provide travel and lodging for presenters?
Yes. We cover all major travel expenses for our presenters. Our team books your flights and hotel accommodations and arranges transportation between the airport, hotel, and conference venue. We also accept receipts for other reasonable travel-related costs for reimbursement.
How are presenters compensated?
Presenter attendance at the conference is complimentary in lieu of an honorarium.
This includes: Complimentary breakfast, snacks, and lunch during the conference; Full conference registration; Continuing education credits (CEUs) for sessions you attend and following completion of our evaluation form.
Do I need to bring my own computer?
No. The conference committee provides all necessary audiovisual and technology support.
Presenters should: Bring a backup copy on a thumb drive and Email their final presentation to the committee prior to the conference
Do I need to attend both days of the conference?
No. Presenters are not required to attend the entire conference. If you are presenting only on one day, please plan to arrive 1–2 hours before your presentation time to check in, review your setup, and ensure a smooth experience.

Panelist FAQ’s
What is the purpose of the panels at the conference?
Our panels provide an opportunity to share real-world experiences and perspectives related to pediatric feeding. Parent panels highlight lived experiences, while specialist panels offer clinical and professional insights. Together, they help foster understanding, collaboration, and improved care.
Who can apply to be a panelist?
We welcome applications from both parents/caregivers of children with feeding challenges and professionals with experience in pediatric feeding, including medical, therapy, and educational backgrounds.
How are panelists selected?
Panelists are selected based on their experiences, perspectives, and how well they contribute to a diverse and meaningful discussion. Our goal is to include a variety of voices and backgrounds.
What is the time commitment?
Panelists will participate in a scheduled panel session during the conference (typically 60–90 minutes). Selected participants will also be invited to a brief pre-panel meeting the day of the conference to review questions and expectations.
Will I need to prepare anything?
No formal presentation is required. Panelists will be asked to share their experiences and respond to guided questions. Some questions may be shared in advance to help you prepare.
What topics will be discussed?
Topics may include feeding challenges, treatment experiences, caregiver perspectives, interdisciplinary collaboration, barriers to care, and strategies that support successful outcomes. Please review our past conferences for past topics.
Can I participate as part of a team or group?
Yes, but each participant must complete an individual application. Panel selection is made at the individual level to ensure a balanced discussion.
Will my information be kept confidential?
